How to play Pyramid Solitaire
This QTHCC page combines Pyramid Solitaire with a guide to the decisions it asks you to make. Remove all 28 pyramid cards. Use mistake-aware practice to give your round a clear purpose.
Pyramid, stock and waste; one stock recycle. Free solo play, no wagering.
Mistake-aware practice
Read the common mistake below before starting. Watch for that situation during the round rather than relying on trial and error.
Your goal
Remove all 28 pyramid cards.
Step by step
- Only uncovered cards are selectable. Pairs total 13; a king removes alone.
- Click an exposed card or eligible pair to remove it.
- Draw when useful.
- Undo reverses a choice. New deal shuffles again.
Controls
Click or tap cards and piles. Wide tableaus scroll inside the game; use Undo, Hint and New deal where shown.
A useful example
An exposed queen pairs with an ace; a jack pairs with a 2.
Watch out for this
Random deals are not guaranteed solvable. A hint is a legal move, not a winning strategy.
