How to play Samurai Sudoku
The QTHCC guide to Samurai Sudoku starts with rules before speed. Your task is to complete five overlapping Sudoku boards. Every shared cell must satisfy both boards that use it. The controls and example below describe this exact implementation.
4 finite checked puzzles, with local saved progress. No claim of unlimited daily puzzles or calibrated difficulty.
Rules before speed
Work slowly for one round. Explain the rule behind each choice before trying to improve your score or completion time.
Your goal
Complete five overlapping Sudoku boards. Every shared cell must satisfy both boards that use it.
Step by step
- Select an editable cell.
- Enter a value using the keypad or keyboard; Notes stores candidates.
- Read the region, cage, arrow or outside clues alongside the normal constraints.
- Check entries verifies the completed board; Undo reverses your last input.
- New puzzle selects another included puzzle.
Controls
Click or tap cells and the digit pad. Use Notes, Undo and Reveal selected. Large boards scroll inside the game.
A useful example
One value entered in an overlap serves two boards, so check the corresponding rows, columns and boxes of both.
Watch out for this
A full board must obey every extra rule. Reveal supplies assistance; it is not an earned deduction.
